#mareAsinistra - Towards the strategy of attracting and enhancing talent in Puglia

Every human potential needs specific conditions to be able to express itself and talent is a product -- one of the most disruptive and original, the most complex and precious -- of the environment in which it gems.

While it is clear that the ultimate goal of regional development policies is the well-being of the people who live, study and work in Puglia, it is equally clear that productive investments are guided by the quantity and quality of people present in the territory. This factor lays the foundations for the emergence of local talents, for the return of the latter, where they have left, or for the attraction of new ones. Because it is women and men, aggregated in community, who draw the dynamics of the context and make it evolve further, just as their respective collective capacities are decisive.

In implementation of the regional government program, Puglia adopted and published in BURP no. 76 of 17 August 2023, # mareAsisistra its Development Strategy aimed at attracting the best creative and technological talents at the international level, built around young people, as bearers of skills, values, energies and talent.

The main objective is to attract students , digital nomads, startuppers, returning Apulians, new investors, top scientists, artists in highly innovative sectors referred to in the Smart Regional Specialisation Strategy (S3) and to do this the main reference stakeholders (including universities, institutions and investment funds) will also be involved.

The Strategy is, by its very nature and by its methodological structure, a dynamic document. That's why we're asking for your help!

If you are a student, a university researcher, a worker, an entrepreneur, a digital nomad, or represent an entity or an institution, contribute to this participatory process. We are collecting comments and ideas on the priority issues identified and will be happy to include further comments and proposals, useful for the definition of the Strategy.

The public consultation will remain open from 20 August 2023 to 20 November 2023 .
