Marconi, Justice Square

On the afternoon of Tuesday 23 June, the second training meeting and co-planning of the participatory path will take place at the theater of the church of Santa Famiglia, in via Lago d'Albano, in the Salinella district.

The facilitation will be handled as always by the ComunitAzione association, with which we will pick up where we left off on June 10, that is, by analyzing the stakeholders in Piazza Marconi. A moment of preparatory preparation for the activities of the neighborhood which will then lead to actual participatory discussions. Meanwhile, in recent days, the project is presented to the inhabitants of the square and on June 18 the partners who will animate it. Already many proposals collected for the redevelopment of the place which, in fact, is already shortening its distance from people.

The wait is a lot and the desire to do even more after the meeting with all the partners, which has really brought a lot of positive energy.

Meeting report

The second day of training and co-planning also took place in the presence in the hall of the parish of the Holy Family at Salinella, in full compliance with the anti-covid security provisions.

In a first part of the meeting we focused on the emergence of the imagination linked to the "success" and "failure" of the project. Activities that allowed us to make the expectations and possible disappointments related to the process more explicit, and to find a shared vision on what represents the success of the process, taking into account both of these dimensions.

We then worked on the analysis and mapping of the stakeholders and on the most appropriate strategies to reach them and involve them in the process. We stopped to analyze the needs, expectations and interests of each of these roles, trying to arrive at a more complex and deeper vision of each of the actors we intend to involve.

In the margins of this activity we have opened a reflection on our role as activists, on the conditions of strength and disadvantage that are linked to it, and on what transformations it is necessary to put in place to better relate to as diversified as possible actors, including those who are normally far from our business horizon.

Finally, we worked out together a first detail of the various stages of the process and the first actions to be put in place, including the creation of a garrison in the square, activities that will see us engaged in the coming days.
